Alan C. Triggs is a highly accomplished, meticulously organized senior legal professional with a proven record of success conducting legal research, trials and trial preparation, and contract drafting and review. He is widely experienced in providing expert legal counsel to governmental entities, a broad range of commercial businesses, and individuals. He possesses a proven ability to logically and effectively interpret statutes, case law, and analyze factual data. He is a critical thinker with high emotional intelligence and the ability to identify and resolve hidden issues; as well as, concise and persuasive in both written and oral communications.
Alan has been practicing law for over 20 years with experience in litigation management, contract/lease drafting, estate planning, employment issues, P&L management, small business representation, bankruptcy, landlord tenant issues, income tax preparation, compliance and resolution.
Alan received his Bachelors of Business Administration (Finance and Accounting) from Memphis State University (k.n.a The University of Memphis) in 1991. He received his Juris Doctorate with an emphasis in Tax Law in 1994. He recently received an LL.M., (advanced law degree) in Small Business Corporate Law.
Alan is a former City of Cincinnati Prosecutor, former Hamilton County Municipal Court Magistrate Judge, and currently the General Counsel for a major manufacturer.
Alan is licensed to practice law in the states of North Carolina, Ohio, Georgia and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
